Some Easter traditions involve hiding eggs. Ours involves making popcorn, and after you try these Easter popcorn balls, you’ll understand why! Kettle corn fresh from your Popper, pastel M&M's, sprinkles, and a white chocolate drizzle — it's the Easter treat the bunny himself would approve of.

Step 1: Heat

Set your stove to medium heat and allow the Popper to preheat for 1–2 minutes.

Step 2: Melt Oil

Add coconut oil and let it heat up.

Step 3: Add Kernels

Pour in the kernels, put the Popsmith’s lid on, and give the Popper a few turns to coat the kernels in the oil.

Step 4: Add Kettle Corn Mix

When you hear the oil sizzling or the sound of the first kernel popping, remove the lid and add the kettle corn mix. 

Step 5: Turn and Pop

Cover the Popper again and turn the crank continuously. Keep that handle moving — constant stirring is what gives every kernel an even glaze.

Step 6: Remove from Heat

When popping slows to 1–2 seconds between pops, take your Popsmith off the burner and immediately pour the kettle corn into a large mixing bowl. Don't let it sit in the hot pot as the residual heat can burn the sugar fast, even with the burner off.

Step 7: Melt White Chocolate 

Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully smooth.

Step 8: Coat Popcorn

Pour the melted white chocolate over the kettle corn and gently toss to coat evenly. Let the mixture cool for 3–5 minutes. You want it tacky but not fully set.

Step 9: Shape Your Easter Popcorn Balls

Lightly coat your hands with cooking spray or coconut oil. Scoop about ¾ cup of the mixture and press firmly into a ball shape. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet, then gently press M&M’s onto the surface and scatter the sprinkles over the tops while the chocolate is still tacky.

PRO TIP: Work quickly when shaping the balls. The mixture becomes harder to mold once the white chocolate starts to cool. If it stiffens up on you, microwave the bowl for 10 seconds and toss again.

Step 10: Set

Let the Easter popcorn balls sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.

Step 11: Enjoy
