What’s sweeter than being together with your loved ones this holiday season? Bonding over delightful bowls of popcorn, of course!
This holiday popcorn recipe by our friend Kaitlin (@creatingkaitlin on Instagram) is perfect for your Christmas Eve table, marathoning festive classics like Home Alone, or enjoying the cozy warmth of your fireplace—and you can easily make it with your trusty Popper.
Holiday Popcorn Ingredients
- 1 Popsmith Oh Sooo Buttery Popcorn kit
- Pretzels
- M&M’s
- Chocolate chips
- Sprinkles
- Melted white chocolate
Directions
Step 1: Heat
Set your Popper over medium heat and allow it to pre-heat for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2: Add Oil
Open the oil portion of your Oh Sooo Buttery kit, squeeze it into the Popper, and wait for it to melt completely.
Step 3: Add Kernels
Open the kernel pouch of the kit and drop 2-3 kernels into your Popper. Pour in the rest of the kernels after the first one starts to pop.
Step 4: Add Salt
Now open the buttery salt pouch, pour your desired amount into the Popper, and cover it with the lid.
Step 5: Turn
When popping starts, turn the crank clockwise a few times.
Step 6: Remove
Take the Popper off the heat once the popping slows down, then open the lid to allow steam to escape.
Step 7: Add Mix-Ins
Pour your pretzels, M&M’s, chocolate chips, and sprinkles into the popcorn. Give everything a good mix before drizzling the melted white chocolate.
Step 8: Serve and Enjoy
Pour your holiday popcorn into a bowl and voila, you’ve got a sweet, salty, and crunchy treat that will be the start of a new festive family tradition.
