Everything Bagel Popcorn at a Glance
Some flavor combinations just make sense. Everything bagel seasoning on popcorn is one of them. This combo is savory, crunchy, and pure perfection — especially when you make the popcorn on the Popper.
You can sprinkle the ready-made stuff over your popcorn and call it a day, but making the blend from scratch is easier than you think, way more satisfying than store-bought, and healthier, too.

Everything Bagel Popcorn Ingredients
- ½ cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or butter (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
- ½ tablespoon black sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1½ teaspoons flaky sea salt
Everything Bagel Popcorn Directions
Step 1: Make DIY Everything Bagel Seasoning
In a small bowl, mix poppy seeds, white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, and flaky sea salt until well combined. Set aside for later.
Step 2: Preheat
Set your stove to medium heat and let your Popsmith preheat for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 3: Pour Oil and Kernels

Pour oil into the Popper and drop 3 kernels. Add the remaining kernels when the first one pops, then cover the pot.
Step 4: Turn

Turn the Popper’s crank clockwise as the kernels pop to prevent burning. You don’t have to do this the entire time. A few cranks every couple of seconds will do the trick.
Step 5: Remove
When popping slows to 1 to 2 seconds between pops, take the Popper off the heat and pour the popcorn into a large bowl.
Step 6: Combine
Drizzle the extra melted coconut oil (or butter) over your popcorn and toss to coat. Gradually sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning over your popcorn, tossing frequently for even distribution.
Step 7: Serve
