This Butterfinger Popcorn Recipe Is Pure Perfection

Popcorn or a candy bar — why pick one when you can have both? This Butterfinger popcorn recipe combines these two movie theater favorites into one drool-worthy treat!

Some people dip their fries in ice cream. Others put potato chips in their sandwiches. Us? We like unique popcorn combinations. Our newest obsession is Butterfinger popcorn. It’s crunchy, peanutty, and an excellent example of what happens when you combine two classic movie snacks together!

Ready to start popping? Grab your Popper and let’s go:

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped Butterfinger bars

Step 5: Make Butterfinger Popcorn Coating

Melt chocolate and peanut butter in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring between each. Then stir in salt and add chopped Butterfingers (save some for later).

Step 6: Combine

Drizzle the Butterfinger coating over the popcorn, then cover the Popper and shake it or give it a few more cranks to evenly coat the kernels. Sprinkle in the rest of the Butterfinger pieces and allow the popcorn to set. Break it into clumps after.

  • Have extra Butterfinger popcorn from game night? Store the leftover popcorn in a ziplock bag or airtight container and eat it within 5 days (though you’re probably not gonna wait that long).
