Popsmith Is One of Oprah’s Favorite Things of 2024

2024 has been one heck of a year for Popsmith! Food & Wine predicted that design-forward products like our Popper would be a major trend, and boy, were they right.

Fast Company ended up naming the Popsmith one of this year’s best product designs. We were also on Good Morning America and sold over $110,000 worth of Poppers in 48 hours. 

The latest on our growing list of achievements? Oprah (yes, THAT Oprah!) included Popsmith on her Favorite Things list.

This annual gift guide is released every November 1st, but selecting the year’s featured products starts as early as January and is quite the process. Oprah’s team spends months finding items they think she’d love, and Oprah herself provides suggestions. 

They start with thousands of stuff before narrowing their picks down to just roughly 100 items. While the list includes everything from makeup to gadgets to kitchen tools, all of them have something in common: they bring joy and delight.

Here's what Oprah said specifically about our Popper:

“No more burnt kernels? Not a single one when we tested this stovetop popper with an ingenious spinning mechanism. You can add butter (or other flavors) and have a fresh batch in under five minutes. Which is great, because movie night is a big night at my house.”
