S'mores Popcorn at a Glance
Craving s'mores on a random weeknight? Don't pack up for a camping trip just yet. This s'mores popcorn recipe brings all that gooey, chocolatey goodness straight to your kitchen.
It only takes a few minutes to prepare with your Popper, and you can make it whenever you want – for movie night, your next backyard party, or for when you need some me time.
Now here’s how to make popcorn s’mores:
S’mores Popcorn Ingredients
- ½ cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped milk chocolate
- 1 cup graham cracker pieces (about 4-5 graham cracker sheets, broken into small pieces)
How to Make S’mores Popcorn
Step 1: Heat
Set your stove to medium heat and let the Popper preheat for 1-2 minutes.
Step 2: Add Oil

Pour oil into the Popper.
Step 3: Add Kernels

Throw 2 to 3 kernels into the pot. Add in the rest of the kernels after the first one pops, then cover the Popper.
Step 4: Turn

Turn the Popper’s crank clockwise as the kernels pop to prevent them from sticking to one place. No need to crank it the entire time — the Popper was built to do most of the heavy lifting.
Step 5: Remove

When popping slows, take the Popper off the heat and transfer the popcorn to a huge bowl.
Step 6: Melt Chocolate
Place your chocolate chips or chopped milk chocolate bar in a bowl and microwave it in 30-second intervals. Stir after each interval until the chocolate has completely melted.
Step 7: Add Mix-Ins
Spread the mini marshmallows on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes until golden — watch them closely, they go fast. Add the toasted marshmallows to the popcorn and give the bowl a good toss to distribute them. Drizzle the melted chocolate over everything, shake again to coat, then sprinkle the graham cracker pieces on top.
PRO TIP: Have a kitchen torch? Use it to toast the marshmallows directly for that campfire char without turning on the broiler.
Step 8: Serve

Wait for the chocolate to set and enjoy your s'mores popcorn! Pair it with a vanilla milkshake or chai latte for double the treat.
