Turn the Popper’s crank clockwise as the kernels pop to prevent burning.

Step 5: Remove

Take the Popsmith off the heat when popping slows to 1-2 seconds between pops and remove the lid.

Step 6: Make Cocoa Coating Powder

Sift cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt together in a small bowl. Then gradually sprinkle it over your freshly popped popcorn, cover the Popper, and give it a few cranks or shakes to coat the kernels evenly.
